The app was designed for the community of Kehlen with the aim of providing residents and tourists with the most important information. The on-boarding was designed for these two groups, so that the displayed content of the app adapts to these user groups. The home screen offers clearly arranged and categorically divided access to the broad mass of information about the municipality. The menu makes it possible to quickly jump back and forth between news, calendar, notifications and tourism interface. The extensive settings of the app can be easily edited via the icon and thus adapts to the user by yet another piece.

The integrated calendar provides a user-specific overview of all appointments and categories. The filter pre-sorts the displayed results and directs the user to a more detailed subpage. The colors and entries are explained in a legend. The entire layout is designed to be intuitive to access and use.

Push notifications can be sent for filtered categories such as “organic waste” on a regular basis, the day before collection. The user can also be informed about upcoming events.
